# Accessibility Studio — sample library and fixtures These files are local sample fixtures. The Studio also ships with an in-app **Sample Library** in Markup Review: choose a card to load and analyze its source in one step. The Mini-site card loads HTML, CSS, and JavaScript together. Samples are illustrative only and never represent an assessment of your site. ## Fixture catalog | File or folder | Purpose | How to use it | |---|---|---| | `markup-issues.html` | Intentionally imperfect one-page document with common static warning signals | In Markup Review, choose **Common markup issues** in the Sample Library. Or use **Open HTML file** to select this fixture manually. | | `markup-good.html` | Comparison document with stronger structure, labels, and alternatives | In Markup Review, choose **A stronger starting point** in the Sample Library. Or use **Open HTML file** to select this fixture manually. A low finding count is not proof of conformance. | | `markup-forms.html` | Form labels, input hints, and action-name fixture | In Markup Review, choose **Forms & instructions** in the Sample Library. Or use **Open HTML file** to select this fixture manually. | | `markup-structure.html` | Heading order, duplicate IDs, links, and table structure fixture | In Markup Review, choose **Structure & navigation** in the Sample Library. Or use **Open HTML file** to select this fixture manually. | | `sample-site/` | Three-file miniature site with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript issues | In Markup Review, choose **Review a complete sample site** to load its HTML, stylesheet, and script in one step. To test file-picker support, choose **Scan full site folder** and select the entire `sample-site/` directory. The HTML, stylesheet, and script are read as source; script code is never run. | | `type-specimen.txt` | Optional paragraph for type-size, reading-width, and text-spacing checks | In Type & Reflow, choose **Open text file** and select this file. | | `contrast-pairs.csv` | Known color pairs with reference sRGB contrast ratios for spot checks | Enter a foreground/background pair from a row in Contrast Lab and compare the displayed result with the reference ratio. | | `review-notes-template.md` | Blank outline for a human-led review | Open it in a text editor and adapt its headings into Review Workspace notes; it is not imported automatically. | ## Suggested smoke test 1. Open `../index.html`, then choose **Open Studio**. The tools start with clearly labelled illustrative content. 2. Open **Markup Review** and choose **Common markup issues**. Confirm the source is loaded and findings refresh automatically. 3. Choose **Review a complete sample site**. Confirm the scope reports one HTML page plus two source files (CSS and JavaScript). 4. Choose **A stronger starting point**, then **Forms & instructions** to compare scenarios. The selected card should visibly update each time. 5. Use **Clear** to return the markup tool to a genuine empty state. Try opening a local HTML file, or use **Scan full site folder** with the entire `sample-site/` directory. 6. Try a contrast preset and palette base color, then check the color source panel at desktop, tablet, and narrow mobile widths. 7. Use **Reset review statuses** and **Reset workspace** to verify the custom confirmation dialog, keyboard focus, Escape/cancel, and confirm actions. 8. Export and re-import the workspace JSON. Changes are session-only until explicitly exported. All fixtures are local. The application does not upload, execute, or fetch them. Markup Review reads source as inert text and applies finite static heuristics only. A quiet scan is not a conformance claim; verify real rendered behavior in a browser and with relevant assistive technologies.
